Chex Muddy Buddies

Ingredients

• 9 cup Chex cereal, any combination of rice, corn, chocolate, or peanut butter
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions

1. Measure cereal into large mixing bowl
2. Add chocolate, butter, and peanut butter to microwave safe bowl
3. Microwave for 90 seconds at 50% power. Stir the mixture.
4. Microwave again for 90 seconds at 50% power. Should be fully melted at this point.
5. Stir vanilla extract into chocolate mixture.
6. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, and stir gently to fully coat.
7. Add coated cereal to 2 gallon zip-top bag, followed by powdered sugar.
8. Gently rotate bag to coat chocolate cereal in powdered sugar.
9. Spread on wax paper to cool.
10. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
