Rice Pilaf
Ingredients
- 1½ TBSP butter
- ½ medium onion, diced
- ½ C orzo
- ½ C long-grain rice
- 1½ C chicken broth
Directions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet.
- Add the onion and sauté over medium heat until it is a light golden color.
- Add the orzo and rice and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat all with the butter.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer on low heat for 23-25 minutes.
- Uncover the pan and fluff
