White gravy
Ingredients
- 2 TBSP unsalted butter
- 2 TBSP all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- ¼ tsp fine sea salt (plus more to taste)
- ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- 1 C milk
Directions
Melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Once melted, add the flour, pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Whisk while bubbling for approximately 1 minute.
- Slowly add the milk while whisking continuously.
- Whisk until thickened, serve hot.
