Turkey Gravy
Ingredients
Turkey Neck & Giblets (excluding liver)
- 4 C water
- 1 C drippings
- 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper
- ½ C cold water
- ¼ C corn starch
Directions
Place neck & giblets in saucepan with 4 C water.
- Bring to a boil and simmer until reduced by ¼ (approx 1 hour).
- Mix ½ C cold water with corn starch.
- Strain giblet broth and mix with 1 C drippings.
- Bring to a boil, then add corn starch mixture.
- Season with pepper (and salt if desired).
- Simmer until thickened (approx 5 min).
