Cheeseburgers
Burger Patty Ingredients
- 1⅓ lbs ground beef
- ⅓ C instant oatmeal
- 1 large egg
- 1½ TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
- 1½ TBSP milk
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Shopping List
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 hamburger patties
- 4 slices of cheese
- tomato
Directions
- Place instant oatmeal in food processor and blend to a near-flour like consistency (approx 30 sec)
- Mix all ingredients together
- Shape into 4 equal sized patties (approx 1/3 lb each) - make each patty slightly larger diameter than the bun - use the back of a spoon to insert an indentation in the center of the patty to prevent puffing up while cooking
- Cook on 350-400F griddle / cast iron skillet for 3-4 minutes per side (can cook in oven at 450F 5-6 minutes per side)
