Beef Stroganoff (IP)
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 C medium-diced onion
- 1 (10¾ oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 C beef broth
- 12 oz dry penne (or 3 cups)
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, cut into small pieces and room temperature
Directions
Set your Instant Pot on the sauté setting & brown the ground beef with the garlic and onions.
- Drain off the excess fat then stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, penne, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Cook for 7 minutes on high.
- Perform quick release and remove the lid.
- Fold in cream cheese until melted.
